"Uncertainty is an element of our existence. One can try to transform the certain uncertainty into an uncertain certainty – but no one can exist without believing", says Franz Schuh at the start of his exploration of the topic "faith".

In this episode of the "Mr. Schuh and..."-series Franz Schuh and director Florian Gebauer deal with issues ranging from superstition and soccer to true crises of self-transcendence and faith. An astrologer explains how she can tell with the help of the constellations of the night sky when to make a decision. Psychiatrist Reinhard Haller believes in the era of narcissism, the excessive belief in oneself. Two fans of the soccer teams Rapid and Austria discuss the myths surrounding their rivaling teams and Elisabeth Augustin, actress at Vienna's Burgtheater, reveals whether she abides by the many superstitious rules in theater.

"It is remarkable, how much you have to believe in order to feel like you know something: when I leave my house, I believe that it will go over well and I believe that the same order, that was effective yesterday, is still in place today. You have to live with that kind of trust, but you cannot know whether it is justified," says Franz Schuh.
